that blistering cold sweat starting to creep in when <vacation!> is non-existent on your calendar, global contagion has cancelled any hope of stepping more than 6 feet outside of your house and a loud KLINK echoes across the kitchen as another empty makes it way into the bin. you stare at your photographic evidence of "the good times" and that beautiful vacay glow you're convinced you'll never have again, and you can't stop wondering the same thing 9 billion other people are thinking...when will this be over?

us 30-somethings who have not yet made the family hood plunge are stuck living vicariously through the lives of our fur babies who happily continue to run outside like there's a party we haven't been invited to.

meet eleven by means of this kitten throwback for good feels and for a dually accurate representation of my quarantine face.

i'm certainly not the only one whose long overdue travel plans turned pipe dream overnight,

but damn does that bug itch more than ever.

on the bright side, it led me back to this project, which i'm embarrassed to admit how long i've set aside, only to at last finish (or get started?) because the government has forced me to couch arrest.

so why not sit back and dive in to this undetermined amount of time with me as i reminisce and give tribute to some past adventures along with intermittent nonsense of weekly life (more eleven of course) in hopes of curing both my itch and yours?

if you're not convinced following this is worthwhile , here's a sneak preview of some trips that come along with soon to be told, unforgettable idiocies. and if you're still not convinced, then do us both a solid and skedaddle your way onto another part of the vast internet where your time will be better wasted.

PS - if any of my euro friends need some Flixbus travel credit to use in a future life give me a holler! This could be you:
